In 2022, IN A HISTORICAL FICTION FIRST, THE AUTHOR INTENDS TO INTERVIEW A 'DEAD GIRL' AND THEN PUBLISH THE OUTCOME. IN A SERIES OF VIDEO INTERVIEWS CONDUCTED AT THE GRAVESITE OF THELMA M. BARNES, THE AUTHOR WANTS TO FIND OUT FIRSTHAND, AND IN THE FLESH, IF A TEEN GIRL TODAY, AFTER STUDYING EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT THELMA AND HER BRIEF 13 YEARS ON EARTH, IS NO DIFFERENT THAN A TEEN GIRL FROM MORE THAN 100 YEARS AGO.

Then we want to hear from you. Audition requirements:
Though professional acting training is not required, an ability to be ages of 12-15 and you must have the consent of a parent or guardian who will be present with you at the interviews. You must be a legal resident of the United States and be able to be in California for about three days in September 2022. If you are selected, you must be available for up to three, approximately 2-hour taped interviews. And you must be able to commit several weeks in advance to studying and learning the history of Thelma M. Barnes and her time period, especially local history of Los Angeles, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach, California during the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. Compensation: $1,000 plus, upon publication, a 5% royalty in the book, "Conversations With A Dead Girl."TM You will be asked to sign a release confirming your eligibility.
